Why it works

The piece anchors on headcount saved rather than revenue grown, making the efficiency framing clear and credible. Naming the before-state in human terms, one person whose entire job was chasing deadlines, gives the abstract cost of tool sprawl a face. The Clarity tag is secondary because the VP's inability to pull basic metrics without hand-built Excel exports is a genuine visibility story running alongside the efficiency story.

Steal this

Name a specific role that existed only to fight the broken system, then show that role doing real work instead. It converts a vague 'we saved time' claim into a concrete, memorable image.
