Why it works

The case study earns its New Capability tag because Kaizen Gaming genuinely could not run a globally distributed, horizontally scalable wallet service before, not merely a slower version of one. The node-scaling progression (6 nodes at 120K inserts/min through 24 nodes at 816K inserts/min with CPU dropping from 75% to 31%) gives readers a concrete mechanism to reason about, which is rare.
