The story earns its Breakthrough tag because the headline number goes up sharply and the mechanism is specific: CEO involvement created a participation spike that is easy to visualize. The Clarity angle is real but secondary, the before-state was disconnection rather than pure blindness. The honest account of failed early cycles and internal doubt makes the eventual turnaround credible rather than promotional.
Name the specific human catalyst. Attributing the participation jump to a single leadership behavior (CEO pinging employees directly) gives the metric a story and makes the lesson replicable.
