The case study earns the New Capability tag because the before-state was a hard structural ceiling: a four-person team physically could not build automation for an entire company, and previous no-code tools failed to last. The mechanism is unusually concrete, walking through the Agent Builder, Shared Operating Procedures, Agent Registry, Agent Logs, and the self-improving Delicious Improver agent in enough detail that a reader could replicate the architecture. The 50 percent backlog health improvement is a specific, attributable result, though it applies only to some teams, which mildly limits its headline power.
The 'dogfooding as viral distribution' move: Sidney did not pitch Custom Agents company-wide, he deployed Sprint Lebowski for the product team and let the daily Slack report sell itself to skeptics organically. Showing the output where people already work, before asking anyone to change behavior, is a replicable go-viral-internally tactic.
