The case study earns its New Capability tag because onlyfy explicitly did not want to become a BI vendor and could not offer natural-language, agentic analytics before embedding ThoughtSpot. The buy-over-build framing is clear and the architecture division between Snowflake, ThoughtSpot, and onlyfy's domain layer gives readers a replicable mental model. The story sits close to Efficiency as well, since the freed engineering capacity is a real secondary win, but the headline result is a net-new product capability.
The three-layer architecture split (data foundation, analytics engine, domain layer owned by the customer) is spelled out explicitly enough that any embedded-analytics prospect can map their own situation onto it immediately.
